The Edo Youth Movement Objective and Mandate Begins In 2024 Edo Election
The Edo Youth Movement was formed to transform Edo State into a model of sustainable development, economic prosperity, and inclusive governance under the leadership of Asue Ighodalo.
Objectives
1. Electoral Success: Ensure Asue Ighodalo is elected as the governor of Edo State.
2. Youth Empowerment: Encourage and empower the youth of Edo Central to actively participate in the political process.
3. Policy Advocacy: Support policies aligned with Asue Ighodalo’s vision for economic growth, education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability.
4. Community Development: Promote initiatives that enhance the overall development and welfare of Edo Central and the wider Edo State community.
5. Transparency and Good Governance: Champion integrity, transparency, and accountability in governance.
Mandate
The movement is tasked with:
– Mobilizing grassroots support across all local government areas in Edo Central.
– Organizing rallies, town hall meetings, and community engagement activities to advance Asue Ighodalo’s candidacy.
– Creating and distributing campaign materials that emphasize Asue Ighodalo’s vision, mission, and policy plans.
– Utilizing social media and other digital platforms to engage a broader audience, particularly the youth.
– Ensuring a fair and transparent election process through collaboration with electoral bodies and monitoring agencies.
