Speaking of Esan language is not a true test of your love for your people By High Chief Tom Ikimi

By EDO YOUTH MOVEMENT

The Movement Exco and his Local government area coordinator led by Hon. Vincent Aimienota in line with their leaders visitation met with High Chief Tom Ikhimi the Oduma of Esanland in his Benin palatial residence.

The president of the movement Hon. Vincent Aimienota in his speech to the high chief appreciates his doggedness to lead the screening committee to ensure that Edo central produce a singular Aspirant into the party primary among the various Aspirants who were interested to become the candidate of the party, and thank him for his IQ of supporting the right person to lead the state towards Development, progress and prosperity. The president of the movement also used the opportunity to appeal to everyone to watch all the candidates of the various parties especially the top three candidates. It’s obvious that DR ASUE IGHODALO is the only one that possess the passion and skill set to build opportunities for the youth and the elderly to fulfill their dreams. It’s only DR ASUE IGHODALO that has moved from one corner of the state to another, traveling overseas to engage our people in Diaspora
and also told the people of Edo state what he will do, how he will do it and when he believes he can achieve it.
DR ASUE IGHODALO has shown Character, Capacity and Competence to bring the desired development and have presented a roadmap document and Manifesto Pathway way to prosperity for all..

In his response High Chief Tom Ikhimi appreciates us for our willingness to come out to contribute, in adding value to the process, and told us in plain terms his conviction that DR ASUE IGHODALO will do well and the decision to choose Asue was born out of his rich Antecedent and pedigree not influence by any one

In his closing remarks it makes it clear that speaking Esan language is not a true test of one’s love for his place none will it be used to sign document or host state council meeting. He went further to insist that one doesn’t need Esanlanguage to communicate to the people of EDO North none Edo South because Asue, can become fluent in the language in 6 months if taught. Instead of looking at his inability to speak Esan we should look at his Competence and Commitment to bring development to the state once he’s voted into office.
